Caroline Levy

Partner and Entrepreneur Stockholm

I’m a Stockholmer who loves good food and to bounce around in good-looking sneakers, with a background as a PR consultant. Together with my best friend Emely we run the female and non-binary social network Heja Livet, for all life’s issues and opportunities, characterized by sisterhood with the power to change.

What drives you? What does ‘making a difference’ mean to you?

Making a difference for me is the little things. As a hi. A smile. To look up. To say “I hear you, I see you”. These things actually lead to life changing actions and events, both personally and for society. I am a part of the community Heja Livet were I see examples of this all the time, and you get reminded everyday that it’s very easy to make a difference.

Tell us a story from your past that has really shaped you. What did you learn?

Is it cheesy to choose when Heja Livet became a part of my life? I’ve learnt so much about others and myself. For example how strong it is to be vulnerable. I also know I’ve been shaped by being so close with my family, showing me the importance of support and having strong cohesiveness.

If you could travel back in time… what piece of advice would to give to yourself ten years ago?

Communication is everything. Always remember to be kind to yourself. And you still won’t feel like an adult in ten years, so don’t stress out growing up.

What does your morning routine look like? How do you maintain balance in your life? What bio or life hack would you like to share with the world?

I eat breakfast, because I always wake up hungry. Moisture and glow for the face and some clothes on. Then I’m off. Pretty quick and painless. I walk everyday to and from the office, which is a perfect time for music or a podcast.

Balance is far from easy to achieve. I prioritize the basics first; sleep, eat well and drink water. Then work, training, family and friends are added to the mix. Also a fair amount of guilty pleasures (beer and fried food) because you only live once.

My life hack: Always have a bottle of cava at home. You never know when you need to celebrate a little, or to give away for a dinner etc.

When are you most happy? Where is your happy place?

Could be at any moment, often an awkward one, when you laugh so hard, no sound coming out and you look like a seal clapping… Otherwise I would say in the sun, among friends and preferably in the Swedish archipelago. One of my happy places is my family’s small private island, Koön, at the Swedish westcoast.

What’s your favorite type of training? Why is training important for you and your career?

I want to sweat bad and get a high pulse! I love spinning (especially with instructor Stefan at Sats Fridhemsplan), crosstraining and pilates. Training is key for me to reload my batteries. To clear the head and get away from the computer, which is really important to me since my work is mainly based online.

What’s next? What are your ambitions for the future?

Continue to evolve the work of Heja Livet and reach new levels of digital feminism. Keep working with my personal growth and journey. Eat more delicious food. Swim in more oceans. Kiss more. Read more books.
