Pingis Hadenius

Entrepreneur Stockholm

My name is Pingis Hadenius and I’m an entrepreneur within beauty tech and within retail as well. I’m also a multi entrepreneur involved in around eight companies. I value work life balance, meaning that I try to eat as healthy as possible and I exercise and work out five times a week. I’m also involved in a company called Fitness Collection, to embrace the work out balance and exercise amongst my colleagues.

What drives you? What does ‘making a difference’ mean to you?

I think my key driver is what I work with as an entrepreneur. It was actually my child hood play, so eventually I described myself as that I was playing every day. So to be honest I have that drive naturally within me. I very rarely have to tell myself to “life work hard”, it’s comes automatically that drive within me. And also I don’t have a boss, as I’m the CEO and the chairman for my biggest companies.

Tell us a story from your past that has really shaped you. What did you learn?

Probably living abroad. I moved back and forth to the U.S. with my parents and I was about five years old the first time. I think that different cultures - everything from new neighbors, new friends, new school - just a different culture, has shaped me a lot. So, I don’t have the Swedish traditional “lagom” within me, I have much more of the “wanting to become” and “wanting to be self-made” within me. I’m kind of a mix between the Swedish core values of being honest and being kind, mixed with the American drive within me.

If you could travel back in time… what piece of advice would to give to yourself ten years ago?

I would have started therapy earlier than I did, because that really improved me getting to know myself, feeling secure and having a better self-esteem which  made me become an entrepreneur. I don’t ever regret anything but I think it would have been good to start going to a therapist in an earlier age.

What does your morning routine look like? How do you maintain balance in your life? What bio or life hack would you like to share with the world?

So at first I get up, have a cup of coffee and drink water and then I’ll do some kind of exercise. And if I’ll skip exercise I at least walk to the office. After exercise I have breakfast and I eat pretty much everything except of meat, since I’m a vegetarian. I drink a large vegetable juice with spinach, broccoli, avocado and ginger, that´s an everyday routine for me.

When are you most happy? Where is your happy place?

Privately it’s when I’m with my family, boyfriend and my closest friends, that’s what I really enjoy. Professionally…I have so much fun at the office and when I’m traveling the world, so I have a lot of fun together with my colleges and especially with my business partner Isabella. We always have laughs, but at the same time we’re very focused and we have very much energy in everything that we do. Usually it’s a very happy moment we’ve accomplished something big, then we always do high fives and laugh. We have a very humorous kind of way of talking and supporting each other, so it’s always a good mood at the office.

What’s your favorite type of training? Why is training important for you and your career?

I’ve always been an alethic person so I’ve never really had a period in my life when I haven’t been exercising. It’s been in my routine throughout all my life. I change this routine quite often and that's fun when we have this company called Fitness Collection, because you can always try new things. Because I have a hectic life style I do value a work out called working on a “mega former machine”. It’s an intense core and strength class that you do slowly, so it calms me down a lot. And I also love running; it’s very meditative for me. I also do love working out with friends and socialize by working out.

What’s next? What are your ambitions for the future?

At the moment my focus is to have a successful launch in the U.S. and Australia with one of my brands. That’s my main focus at the moment.
